Logic puzzles Kakuro is a puzzle resembling crosswords, played with numbers instead of words. The main solution in this game is to use proper logic and fill all the blank spaces in the grid only with numbers ranging from 1 to 9, so that the numbers that you add up comes to the corresponding clues shown in the puzzle. When the grid is filled with numbers matching up with the clue number, then the game is over.

Although the game description might appear easy, the solution to it definitely requires a perfect brainwave. The Kakuro grids can be of any size and a rule of thumb follows that more of blank squares a puzzle contains, the harder it becomes to bring out the solutions. The clue squares in Kakuro logic puzzle can have an “across” clue or a “down” clue or sometimes both. For example, a clue number of 10 over a run of 3 squares will have the following combinations:

1+2+7
1+3+6
1+4+5
2+3+5

However, exceptions also exist in logic puzzles Kakuro. For example, a clue of 7 over 3 squares has only 1 combination:

1+2+4 [you cannot have 1+3+3, as this would duplicate the number 3]
